Olivia Bigabwa
Paralegal
Throughout her academic journey at the University of Minnesota, Olivia cultivated a deep understanding of legal and political systems and their impact on society. Her coursework has honed her critical thinking and research skills, enabling her to analyze complex legal issues and contribute valuable insights to the legal field.
Her experience as an Officer at the University of Minnesota Pre-Law Society served to stoke her interest in all matters legal, especially those related to employment. Her employment with Student Legal at the University of Minnesota provided immeasurable skills, working with clients facing a variety of legal issues which required intervention by an attorney and paralegal.
As a Paralegal at Advocate at Work, she performs legal research, document drafting, client communications and litigation/trial support. She also leads the firm’s Internship program, providing ‘bench support’ for cases in which an army of assistance is beneficial.
She has a strong fascination with the law and is excited to work on each and every case to pursue justice, especially in the areas of gender (including sexual harassment), religion, race and age discrimination, LGBTQ, whistleblower and employment contracts.
